We are a fast-growing recruitment agency based in Manchester, specialising in U.S. Construction. Our clients range from large multinational construction firms to innovative start-ups across the United States. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality recruitment services, connecting top talent with exciting opportunities in various construction sectors such as civil engineering, commercial construction, infrastructure, and residential development.

Job Summary:
As a Recruitment Resourcer, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment team by sourcing high-caliber candidates for our U.S. construction clients. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, screen, and shortlist suitable candidates for roles such as project managers, site supervisors, engineers, and other key positions in construction. You will work closely with Recruitment Consultants to understand client requirements and help build a talent pipeline in line with our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source and attract U.S.-based construction professionals using job boards, social media platforms, networking, and other sourcing tools.
  • Screening & Shortlisting: Review CVs and applications, conduct initial phone interviews, and assess candidates' suitability based on their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future vacancies in the U.S. construction sector.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all candidates within the recruitment database, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with candidates, providing them with feedback and updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Recruitment Consultants to ensure a clear understanding of client needs and job specifications for each vacancy.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with U.S. construction industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities to provide insights to the recruitment team.
  • Advertising: Write and post job adverts on appropriate platforms to attract relevant talent.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, or resourcing is preferred, ideally within construction or technical sectors.
  • Understanding of U.S. Construction Market: Knowledge of the U.S. construction landscape, key roles, and industry trends is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with candidates and internal teams.
  • Proactive Attitude: Highly motivated, target-driven, and proactive in seeking out top talent for clients.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using recruitment tools, job boards, and social media platforms for candidate sourcing. Experience with CRM/ATS systems is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail when screening candidates and maintaining database records.

What We Offer:

  • Training & Development: Comprehensive training in recruitment processes, the U.S. construction market, and the latest sourcing techniques.
  • Career Growth: Opportunity to progress within the recruitment team, with a clear career development path towards Recruitment Consultant or Account Manager roles.
  • Commission Structure: Competitive salary with an attractive commission and bonus scheme based on performance.
  • Work Environment: A collaborative and supportive team culture, with a modern office in the heart of Manchester.
