Associate Director Senior Chartered Surveyor

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Chartered Surveyor to join our Manchester team at Associate Director level. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across the North of England, working with a variety of high-profile clients from different sectors.

About the Role:

As an Associate Director, you will oversee a range of commercial assets, including office, retail, industrial, and hospitality properties. Your role will involve managing both the operational and strategic aspects of the portfolio, ensuring that the assets are performing optimally and delivering value for clients. You will be supported by a dedicated team of professionals and work closely with various internal departments to drive success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the performance and management of a varied portfolio of commercial properties.
  • Collaborate with finance, facilities management, and specialist teams to ensure efficient operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure that all properties are maintained to a high standard, remain competitive, and meet sustainability targets.
  • Monitor and optimise service charges, ensuring value for money for tenants and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering outstanding service and ensuring their long-term satisfaction.

  • Institutional investors
  • Pension funds
  • Private individuals
  • Public sector organisations
About You:
  • MRICS qualified with significant experience in managing commercial properties.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multi-let assets and lead teams effectively.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships.
  • A proactive and ambitious approach, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Willingness to work from the Manchester office 3 days per week, with flexibility for remote working.
Salary:
  • £60,000 - £65,000 Depending on experience
  • Annual bonus of up to 20% (discretionary of course)
