Lifecycle Project Manager - Manchester - Up to 75K plus excellent benefits

CBW are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client's team on a large PFI on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers a competitive salary, car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package. As Senior Project Manager, you will be essential to the successful delivery of all projects and lifecycle works, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining a focus on delivering favorable financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of Variations and Life Cycle projects across the PFI site, working closely with both the SPV and Trust.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget, with accountability for profit and loss.
  • Assemble and manage cross-functional teams from in-house and outsourced resources to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Manage projects in compliance with business systems, quality assurance, financial systems, and relevant policies.
  • Develop and manage project plans, setting clear expectations with clients regarding timelines, budgets, and quality.
  • Prepare Work Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and COSHH and CDM documentation to ensure compliance and safety standards on-site.
  • Oversee consultants, subcontractors, and project teams, ensuring that all necessary consents, permits, and compliance measures are in place.
  • Ensure effective coordination between the project teams and other departments, safeguarding key contractual KPIs and operational requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates, including weekly and monthly reports on budget, pipeline, and cashflow.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the contract.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • RICS, CIOB, CEng, or a degree in a construction or building services-related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Technically proficient in a range of project management environments, including traditional contracting and design-build arrangements.
  • Experience managing project budgets and delivering profitable outcomes.
  • Strong focus on quality, process, and financial performance.
  • Previous experience in government contracts or listed buildings would be beneficial.
