Job description

A busy automotive plant in south Liverpool is seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant, who is a credentialed professional to CPID level 5 ideally with at least 5 years HR experience who can perform daily administrative and human resources duties.
We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working within a small team and can add real value and contribute their own ideas and initiatives daily. You must have a can-do attitude and flexible approach to your working day from performing general admin duties to being involved in higher level HR duties.
Weekly hours 32 hours - 8 hours per day Monday to Thursday 8am -4pm can be flexible and spread hours across Monday to Friday if required
Hourly pay rate 15.50
Start date Wednesday 13th November end date 1st March - could extend

Skills and attributes
Proficiency in word processing software packages such as MS Office suite Excel.
Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
Flexible approach adapting role to support admin and office function
Support with general admin duties and daily comms briefings
Excellent verbal communication skills and typing skills
Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
A customer-focused outlook with a high level of discretion and professionalism
The ability to work well with team members and management
Cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal skills
Organisational skills for storing and accessing different types of information daily

Daily tasks
Supporting employee relations and performance management
Offering recruitment assistance
Improving, implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures
Developing and maintaining relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the best candidates
Implementing programs and projects to improve the employee experience of the organisation
Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures redundancies for the company
Arranging services for employees, such as counselling services
Assisting with salary negotiations and issues with employment laws
General admin duties preparing files and documents and maintaining data bases
Involvement in weekly employee communication
