Hygiene Supervisor
Permanent Full-Time Position
Location Wymondham, Norfolk

Monday to Friday, 18:00 to 03:00.
Salary: £34,000 per annum.


ISQ Recruitment is currently looking for a Hygiene Supervisor on behalf of our client near Wymondham, Norfolk. As a Hygiene Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team to ensure the cleanliness of the factory and warehouse to the highest standards, following health and safety guidelines. This is a hands-on supervisory role that requires both leadership and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with factory procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Oversee the cleaning of the factory, warehouse, and ancillary rooms, ensuring the correct use of chemicals and adherence to cleaning schedules.
  • Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure that hygiene standards are being met across the site.
  • Manage the replenishment of PPE and chemicals in all factory areas, ensuring stock levels are maintained and all necessary items are available.
  • Assist in training new team members on hygiene protocols and best practices.
  • Liaise with management to report any issues or improvements needed within the hygiene department.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and legal regulations.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £34,000 per annum.

About You:
  • Previous experience in a hygiene or supervisory role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with other departments.
  • A valid driving license.
