Accounts Receivable Clerk 6 month temporary assignment to perm Blackburn £26-£28k DOE

Your new company
A leading construction company in Blackburn is seeking two dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerks to join their Invoicing Team. These roles are crucial for supporting the business in raising invoices and performing related tasks in line with the requirements of the business. Reporting directly to the Invoicing Supervisor, one of these positions offers the potential to transition from temporary to permanent based on performance.

Your new role
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your responsibilities will include, supporting the accounts function by processing approximately 900+ invoices per month. Working closely with operational and finance teams to provide necessary support. You will be updating client information through CIFs, CRM, telephone, and email communication and ensuring accurate data synchronisation between the ERP SAP B1 and CRM systems. A long side this you will be answering telephone queries and resolving them efficiently. As part of your role, you will assist the Credit Control team in resolving outstanding queries and undertaking any administrative tasks or projects to aid the team's function as and when asked.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed within this role, you will need experience with financial systems - experience with SAP B1 would be an advantage, be a team player, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, have a high attention to detail, excellent at multitasking and highly organised, be flexible, enthusiastic and can do attitude, have previous experience within a finance team is essential and have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
