Management Accountant - Crewe - up to £40,000

Your new role

• Production of management accounts for the MD and external accounts
  
• Management of the accounts function
  
• Short to long term cashflow reporting
  
• Bank reconciliations
  
• Profit and loss
  
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and analysis
  
• Preparation of Payroll for all staff - send to external provider
  
• Supplier payment runs
  
• Analyse and process credit card expenditure
  
• Preparation of VAT returns
  
• Preparation and processing of journals
  
• Continually monitor prepayments and accruals
  
• Reconciliation of payroll and pension control accounts
  
• Hire purchase and business loans analysis, accounting for interest and charges
  
• Maintain fixed asset register
  
• Calculation of depreciation
  
• Liaison with external accountants
  
• Raising of Sales Invoices and chasing late payments
  
• Management of 2 members of staff
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role
  
• AAT qualification desirable
  
• Good systems and Excel user
  
• Ability to manage staff effectively
  

What you'll get in return

• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  
• 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
  
• Potential 1 day from home after 3 months
