We are a dynamic manufacturing company based in Burnley, seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Payroll Technician to join our team on a temporary basis for 9 months, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive end-to-end payroll experience and a strong understanding of payroll systems implementation.Your new role
Within your new role, you will be responsible for the End-to-End Payroll processing, manage the entire payroll process, including data entry, payroll calculations, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries. You will also be involved in system implementation and optimisation of payroll systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy and ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and legislation. You will generate and distribute payroll reports to management as required, maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records. And lastly, work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing.

Experience with payroll system implementation is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and legislation.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
