Recruitment Advisor
Location: Great Billing, Northampton, NN3 9EX.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE.
Contract: Full time, permanent. 28 days per annum +3 bank holidays (Christmas, Boxing Day, NYD).
Billing Finance is a family-owned vehicle financing Company based on the outskirts of Northampton. We focus on customers with non-standard credit profiles that may not fit the automated underwriting processes of other lenders.

Recruitment Advisor - About the role
This role will sit within the People and Culture team, providing essential in-house recruitment support across the business, supporting both growth plans, internal comp and bens benchmarking, recruitment marketing, campaign management, candidate pipeline management, and apprenticeship levies/ work experience.
This role will need to work autonomously and will therefore need to be able to understand and market our culture, values, and individual departmental skill sets to potential candidates.
Recruitment Advisor Responsibilities:
• To lead recruitment campaigns from inception to successful onboarding of new candidates
• Appropriately define campaign strategy (linkedin/ job boards/ apprenticeships/ headhunting etc) to best suit required skill set
• To market Billing Finance s opportunities and benefits to potential candidates in an engaging manner
• To provide excellent internal stakeholder management for campaign owners
• To run all necessary background checks on candidates in line with policy
• Ensure all job descriptions are uniform in their approach to company culture, but are adjusted to appeal to specific candidates
• Support in interviewing as required
• To run internal interviewing training to managers as required
• To create and manage any interview tests and scenarios
• To work with the Marketing and Brand Manager to expand Billing Finance s employer brand
• To monitor Glass door and other feedback sites
• To run surveys and focus groups on newly sourced candidates to gain process feedback and adapt accordingly
• To maintain up to date benchmarking for individual roles, and also overall compensation benchmarking for FS
• To explore the use of apprenticeships for both recruitment and internal skills building
• To ensure all recruitment practices are in line with the Company s D&I policy
• To negotiate offers, provide candidate feedback in good time, and to draft offer and contract letters
• To assist the P&C Advisor in ensuring all references are obtained prior to completion of probation.
What we need from you:
• Experience in autonomously running direct recruitment campaigns for entry level/ mid senior levels
• Experience in senior hires (Senior Management) desirable but not essential
• Financial Services experience desirable but not essential
• Experience in using a variety of interview techniques to source the right candidate
• Experience in drafting appropriate job descriptions
• Experience in benchmarking strongly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management
• The ability to work on multiple projects
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Experience in apprenticeships desirable but not essential
The Recruitment Process and How We Will Use Your Data
The recruitment process will involve obtaining information and/or exchanging it with the following organisations to assist with our pre-employment checks prior to interview.
• Credit Reference Agencies to complete a soft credit check to understand your financial history
• CIFAS to check both National and Internal databases for fraudulent activity. The personal information we have collected from you will be shared with Cifas who will use it to prevent fraud, other unlawful or dishonest conduct, malpractice, and other seriously improper conduct. If any of these are detected you could be refused certain services or employment. Your personal information will also be used to verify your identity.
To complete these checks you will be asked to provide your address history for the past six years, along with your full name and date of birth.
