Tank Recruitment have been engaged to recruit a Repairs Manager for one of our clients based in Northamptonshire.

Repairs Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of repairs and maintenance staff, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient service for all properties within our clients organisation.
  • Prioritize the health, safety, and wellbeing of your team while delivering value for money and meeting the needs of our residents.
  • Oversee KPI and SLA performance, manage department budgets, and ensure targets are met.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team and key stakeholders to deliver the objectives of the clients Business Plan.
  • Represent the team at committee, board, and executive management meetings, as well as engage with resident groups.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to residents, board members, and senior management.
  • Experience managing budgets of over 2M annually, ensuring value for money and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations related to property maintenance.
  • Proficient in IT, including software packages like Word and Excel, with a solid understanding of repairs data to drive improvements.
  • A skilled negotiator and influencer, able to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Experience managing staff performance, attendance, and development using documented procedures.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers and communities.


Salary: 45K
