Senior Sales Expert Spices & Herbs (Remote but need to be based in either UK or EU)

About the Role:

As the Global Head of Spices & Herbs Sales, you will be the key driver in expanding our innovative product line derived from upcycled ingredients. This category has already seen rapid growth, and with your expertise, we aim to accelerate this even further. You ll have the autonomy to shape the sales strategy, develop key client relationships, and ensure our products meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Global Sales: Take full ownership of the Spices & Herbs category, driving sales strategies that position our products in key markets worldwide.
  • Strategic Influence: Provide insights on market trends, client needs, and potential shortages, shaping both immediate and long-term sales tactics.
  • Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and align with market needs.
  • Achieve and Exceed Targets: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, hitting ambitious targets with an uncapped incentive structure.

What We re Looking For:

  • Industry Expertise: A minimum of 7 years of experience in the spices & herbs industry, with a strong understanding of the B2B value chain.
  • Global Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in international sales or purchasing, with a solid network in the industry.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate market trends and client requirements, providing strategic guidance to the company.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to balance strategic insight with practical solutions.
  • Fluent in English: Additional language skills are advantageous.

Bonus Skills:

  • Technical Background: Experience in the food industry, particularly with ingredients similar to those we upcycle, is a plus.
  • Sustainability Mindset: A passion for the circular economy and sustainable practices.
