Job description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for driving new business growth by collaborating with the marketing and new business teams on campaigns and self-generation efforts. The role requires a proactive and strategic approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute new business campaigns and strategies
  • Proactively source and generate new business leads through targeted outreach and networking efforts
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solution
  • Contribute quality leads to add opportunity to the sales pipeline
  • Demonstrate clear and concise communication to help establish trust and credibility with potential clients, ultimately leading to successful new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to feedback loop to help improve campaign effectiveness and lead quality.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a BDR or similar role, with a clear focus on new business generation and collaboration with marketing and new business teams.
  • A proven track record of successful lead generation to closed won in the tech industry. Telecoms experience preferred but not essential.
  • Similarly, demonstrated success in driving new business growth, meeting or exceeding targets, and contributing to the expansion of the client base.
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales processes, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and campaign execution
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office suite applications, Salesloft, Cognism and CRM tools (Salesforce) Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
