Job description

Opportunity to take a lead commercial role for a rapidly growing standalone division of a Civil Engineering group.

• Commercial Manager
• Managing a team of four Quantity Surveyors/Assistants
• Infrastructure, hard landscaping, 278 works, earthworks, roads, remediation
• Project values up to £20m
• Head office based near Dartford, Kent

You'll work closely with the Operations Director and Preconstruction Manager, and as a leadership team of three, ensure this business unit is profitable and the growth is managed appropriately.

Typically, there's six to seven projects at any one time, therefore your commercial team potentially has room to take on further growth - naturally if the team needs to expand further, you'll leading any further recruitment.

A bit about you (ideally):

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
2. Several years experience within the civil engineering sector
3. Proven team management capability
