Salary: Executive Level 3 - £73,150 per annum
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week (compressed hours would be considered)
Contract: 23 month Secondment / Fixed Term opportunity
Location: Homebased Flexible

We're now looking for a Deputy Director of Strategy to join us on a full-time basis for a 23 month secondment / fixed term opportunity.

What you will bring

To be considered as our Deputy Director of Strategy, you will need:

• Experience leading research and evaluation programmes at a national and international level
• Experience using research and/or evaluation to influence strategy and policy development
• Experience of organisational decision making at a senior level
• An understanding and/or experience of the health and social care sector, central government, regulation, strategy, policy, consultancy, or economic analysis and their concepts, practices, and procedures
• The ability to lead and manage staff through change
• A degree level qualification or equivalent

What you'll be doing

As our Deputy Director of Strategy, you will lead the strategic direction of our research and evaluation programme.

Ensuring evidence is central to regulatory decisions and organisational strategy, you will oversee a broad research agenda, identifying priorities and supporting a team in managing and delivering high-impact projects.

You will work closely with senior leaders to integrate insights into policy development and strategic decisions, while ensuring the quality and effectiveness of programme outputs and maintaining oversight of risks and opportunities related to our regulatory goals.

Additionally, you will:

• Chair the Research, Development, and Evaluation Steering Group
• Represent us in national and international research partnerships
• Provide strategic advice to the Board and Executive Team
• Manage team resources, budgets, and recruitment
