£160,000 - £170,000 + Car Allowance, Bonus & benefits.

This is a retained, confidential assignment for a UK based Food Manufacturer to appoint a Group Manufacturing Director, responsible for their multi-site operation.

Following years of investment, acquisition, and growth, we are looking for a dynamic Operations Director to lead this hundreds of million £ turnover business into the next phase. It has been an intense period of growth with a focus on driving numbers and output, however the time has come to move away from the old-school and look at a quality-first approach.

Operations are and will always be the engine room of any food manufacturer, however, with its stability, it is time to drive a culture of engagement, safety, compliance, quality, innovation as you strengthen the foundations and look for long term growth opportunities in the form of new channels, international, range-expansion and co-manufacturing.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible formultiple sites across the UK with a headcount of close to 2000. Your team will consist of end-to-end operations as you collaborate with an experienced and committed executive team todeliver the next, long-termmanufacturing strategy.

Background

This requires a Group Manufacturing Director at the top of their game. You will need extensive experiencemanaging own-label food manufacturing operations with multiple factories and turnovers of over £150million.

It is essential that you are a dynamic, energetic, and engaging leader who always looks to identify ways to grow and drive the business forward. Additionally,

  • Experience in delivering and simultaneously managing complex, large scale CapEx projects.

  • Previous experience in managing mergers and acquisitions,

  • ESG strategy experience.
