Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Key Stage 1
Location: Wednesfield

We are working with a local school who are on the lookout for a confident HLTA to support and deliver lessons across Keystage 1. The role is an ASAP start on a long-term, full-time basis. Suitable for any ECT's wanting to gain more experience.

The Role:

• Lead and deliver targeted interventions and support to Key Stage 1 students under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of individuals and small groups.
• Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and other key skills through structured activities and resources.
• Supervise students during independent and group activities, providing guidance and encouragement as needed.
• Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a HLTA in a Key Stage 1 setting.
• A relevant HLTA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• 24 months of references with at least 1 from working with children in schools in the UK.
• Valid right to work in the UK documentation
• A valid DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain one.
