Key Responsibilities:

COSHH and Risk Assessments: Develop and implement compliant, yet pragmatic solutions for the renewal of COSHH and Risk Assessments across the site. Ensure these are completed, implemented, and communicated effectively to all relevant parties.
Risk Assessment Support: Contribute to risk assessments for all relevant site projects, ensuring thorough and accurate evaluations.
Legislative Compliance: Ensure health and safety compliance with all relevant legislation, maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety.
Health and Safety Culture: Drive a proactive health and safety culture by conducting regular audits on processes, supplies, and employee behaviour.

Skills and Experience Required:

NEBOSH Certificate: A mandatory requirement for this role.
Chemical Handling Experience: Prior knowledge and experience of chemical handling within a manufacturing and laboratory setting would be advantageous.
Manufacturing Environment Experience: Experience in health and safety within a manufacturing environment and health and safety contractor management is desirable.
Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear, concise, and compliant solutions and training to relevant parties.
