Job description

Purpose of the Role:

IT is an essential enabler of the business at Stonegate, and keeping our site systems running is the top priority for Site Service Delivery. Thus we have dedicated site support for our sites for their IT issues. This includes installing, diagnosing and maintaining equipment (tills, printers, PC S, servers, PEDs and phones) to ensure optimal performance. This person will also identify and troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion to stop estate wide issues.

Responsibilities:

Problem Management:

• Provide IT support to sites (pubs) via Helpdesk.
• Liaise with 3rd party, outsourced suppliers for call resolution.
• Develop trends by monitoring and analysing incoming calls, problems and support requests.
• Review and update triage and engineer notes.
• Email account administration, i.e. account creation and management and distribution lists.
• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues on Active Directory.

• Hints and tips for sites
• Call analysis and trends

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:

• College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science/IT or similar, and extensive work experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of operating systems
• The ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
• The ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A patient and methodical approach
• The ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Software and hardware troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of AD, Exchange 2010 and remote control tools
• Self-confidence and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working Knowledge of ITIL standard

The Solihull Pub Support Team offices are light and airy offices in Shirley, Solihull, where you will be greeted by our Welcome Team. We have free onsite secure parking with EV charging and cycle storage, a subsidised canteen serving breakfast and lunch, as well as an onsite pub used for social events. The offices are fully accessible.
