Are you a Experienced NPD Professional looking to take the next step in leading a team and being the right hand person to the Head of NPD? I am looking to speak with passionate foodies who understand and have managed the full concept to launch process. Being the first point of contact to customers and has the ability to manage their expectations. Ensuring every product is launched to exact deadlines and of the highest quality.

This role will suit a Senior NPD Technologist looking to take there next step in career, who thrives in a fast paced environment and used to juggling multiple projects. Ideally they will hold a food related degree and have a minimum of 2 year s experience.

Duties included but not limited to:

• Being Customer facing with all retail & B2B customers and their main point of contact within the business
• Working to tight deadlines within a fast paced environment making sure that all key deadlines are met
• Completing all relevant paperwork QAS, Specifications, Technical Compliance,
• Responsible for sourcing all ingredients ensuring they are both fit for purpose and within budget
• Attending all customer meetings and organising pre-launch and launch meetings
• Effectively delegating workload and assisting the team with workload

Essential skills & Experience

• Experience working within a Senior Technologist role in the food industry essential.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and numerate approach to provide data on time in the right format.
• Confident, articulate and courteous communicator over the phone, face-to-face and in writing.
• Highly flexible, competent and adaptable and takes responsibility for own improvement.
• Undertakes tasks with enthusiasm and always takes pride in his/her work. Communicates effectively at all levels, considers others opinions and always treats others with respect.
• A good understanding of the functions of ingredients used within the bakery sector.
• Innovation and Creativity.
• Numeracy skills.
