Job description

Wind Energy Analyst required for a major offshore wind developer based in Denmark

Responsibilities

• Assess wind resources for utility-scale wind farms
• Perform wind data analyses
• Prepare wind farm layouts
• Conduct energy yield analyses together with the associated uncertainty and losses
• Strategic advice on technical scope and production optimization on projects covering both development and the operational portfolio
• Ensure proper use of production profiles and alignment with other departments

Requirements

• Extensive experience with wind resource and energy yield assessment
• Commercial understanding and mindset ensuring that yield analysis and derived recommendations are not done isolated but considering the value of the project as a whole.
• have excellent IT skills and are a competent user of MatLab or another high-level technical computing language
• speak and write English fluently, communicating efficiently with your stakeholders and presenting your results to your colleagues professionally
• are bright with excellent analytical skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely and effective manner, enabling you to prioritize your tasks
• Are approachable and fun to work with and wish to solve tasks, not just independently but as part of an energetic team always striving to improve
