Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you want to join a service where you can make a real difference every day? A fantastic opportunity is available for a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a dynamic team at a leading mental health facility in Nottinghamshire. This role offers a generous welcome bonus and the chance to work in a highly supportive environment, helping to deliver high-quality patient care.

About the Facility: This facility provides acute adult mental health services in partnership with the NHS at its modern, purpose-built site near Arnold. After successfully providing services for women, the facility has expanded to offer services for male patients and is launching a brand-new Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The team is focused on delivering outstanding care and is looking for professionals who are passionate about making a difference.

The Role: As a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will play a crucial role within the Multi-Disciplinary Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising a team and contributing to their professional development, including training and appraisals.
  • Monitoring and reviewing patient care plans.
  • Evaluating and responding to changes in patient conditions and needs.
  • Delivering high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
  • Leading shifts and mentoring student nurses and junior team members.
  • Adhering to all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation while promoting ethical practice.

Requirements:

  • A valid nursing qualification and NMC registration.
  • Strong teamwork skills, self-motivation, and a flexible approach to working hours units operate 24/7, and flexible working patterns may be considered.
  • A commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
  • A drive for continuous professional development.

Benefits:

In recognition of your expertise and hard work, a comprehensive benefits package is offered, including:

  • Sign-on bonus Up to £5,000 (either as a bonus or an e-voucher to redeem on discounted shopping, gym memberships, and more).
  • Relocation support (including payment for accommodation or moving costs) Up to £3,000.
  • Payment into the pension scheme.
  • CPD top-up to enhance your professional qualifications.
  • Donation to a charity of your choice.
  • Back pay on any salary increase while awaiting PIN registration.

This role is a perfect opportunity for an experienced RMN looking to take the next step in their career while working in a facility committed to providing the best possible care for its patients.
