Long term role, free on-site parking, uniform and training provided

Hays Construction and Property require Security Operatives to work on a high security site in Nottingham, for a public sector organisation.
Main duties of this role will be to work within the security department of the public sector organisation, working on a shift pattern basis. This will involve working 5 of the 7 days per week and will include some weekend work.Responsibility will include manning the gatehouse, checking in visitors for staff, escorting visitors around the establishment, working in the mail room checking post, assisting on prison wings when required, working in stores and generally assisting in any departments as and when required.
This role is a fundamental part of the organisation and requires you to have good communication skills, be able to follow strict procedures and have initiative to notify senior staff if there are any problems. You will be required to have an enhanced security clearance carried out by the organisation to ensure you are able to work on site. The security clearance will require you to have photo ID such as a valid passport or photo card driving licence.
Full training is provided, but it would be beneficial to have prior experience of security, using radios and handling multiple keys for one site. A uniform is also provided.
You will need to provide 2 full working references from within the last year.
