Hiring an experienced Estimator working in the Nottinghamshire region

Estimator - Bespoke Joinery Fit-OutLocation: Nottinghamshire
Must have 2-3 years + in relevant fields such as Quantity Surveying or Estimating and have a full UK Driving Licence.

Based in Nottinghamshire, this company specialises in creating custom joinery solutions for a diverse range of clients in sectors such as retail, civic, office, residential as well as food and beverage. They work with many national clients, leading brands and regional occupiers delivering new units, refurbishments and estate management improvements. Projects range in size from small concessionaire replacement to full new store delivery, from demolition to extension through to turnkey completion and everything in between.
Your new role:
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the project team, responsible for accurately estimating the costs of bespoke joinery projects. Your duties will include analysing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring that all estimates are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that all projects meet high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
What you'll need to succeed:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the joinery or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, processes, and costs.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
