We are looking for a site manager for a construction firm specialising in groundworks and civil engineering projects. The company pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget and are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to join their dynamic team.
Job Description: As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the groundworks project.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Project Management: Planning, coordinating, and supervising the day-to-day operations on site.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of workers, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with project specifications.
  • Health & Safety: Implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Budget Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring the project stays within budget.
  • Client Liaison: Communicating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in groundworks or a similar field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or civil engineering.
