Despatch Operative (Forklift)

Salary - 12.85 increasing to 13.26 after successful training period
Shift available - 4 on 4 off 06:30-Finish
We are looking for candidates with flexibility, as we will be running a seasonal night shift for up 5 months of the year. An additional 12.5% premium is payable for any night shift working.
We are looking for Despatch Operatives to join the team at our Fresh potato factory in Abernethy. You will play a key role in our production process ensuring tatties make it to supermarket shelves.

To be our next forklift driver you will need to hold a valid counterbalance license. The role is varied and can be fast paced, examples of the duties will include;
Loading packed product into trailers, ready to be delivered to our customer.
Scanning & data entry of product on appropriate systems.
Moving pallets & merchandising units for storing as per loading plans.
Undertake daily pre-start checks, reporting any defects to team leader promptly.
Be a role model for H&S, ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with company procedures.
There will be a requirement to move LGV trailers for loading purposes within the despatch yard, so shunter training will be provided following a successful probationary period.
