Role: Marketing Account Manager

Salary: Basic salary from £30,000 per annum DOE + commission scheme linked to any new business generated.

Located: Sheffield

Hours:- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)

Glu Recruit are working with a highly respected PR and Marketing agency based in Sheffield. They are looking for a talented and experienced Senior PR & Marketing Account Manager to join their expert team.

Overseeing a wide range of accounts, primarily in the property and leisure sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all activities and developing and implementing integrated PR and marketing strategies to help the brands we work with achieve their most ambitious marketing goals and communication objectives.

The role:

  • Developing and implementing PR and marketing strategies
  • Managing a team, delegating work and providing internal approvals
  • Leading client meetings
  • Campaign ideation
  • Writing and distributing media releases
  • Copywriting, including award submissions, marketing literature and editorial pieces
  • Planning and writing digital content, e.g. blogs, web content, e-newsletters, social media posts
  • Journalist targeting and relationship building with key media contacts
  • Pitching stories to publications and seeking proactive media opportunities
  • Social media content creation
  • Email marketing
  • Producing PR, marketing and social media performance reports
  • Reactive and proactive PR tactics
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends in digital PR, marketing and social media, along with property industry updates and topical agenda items
  • Briefing in design and video work to our in-house Studio

The successful candidate:

Ideally, applicants will have 3+ years experience working in a B2C public relations or marketing account management role. Property PR experience is preferable but not essential.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques as well as a proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns.
