Overview

My client, a large Lighting manufacturer, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team in the South West region. The ideal candidate will have experience in specification sales and project-based sales within the logistics and warehousing sector, specifically focused on cold stores, distribution centers, and manufacturing units.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the designated region to promote and create demand for their products and services
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the sales pipeline and meet company sales targets, leveraging their products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide support and lighting solutions to key accounts, utilizing their products and services
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities and use this knowledge to position their products effectively
  • Provide feedback from the market to the company for product development and improvement to enhance their offerings
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in specification sales and project-based sales, ideally with a background in lighting solutions
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and warehousing sector, with a focus on lighting requirements and solutions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of their products and services
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, leveraging knowledge of lighting requirements
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets, utilizing their product range effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
Day-to-day
  • Engage with existing key accounts to assess their ongoing lighting requirements and provide their lighting solutions
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the sales pipeline for their lighting products and services
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities for their lighting solutions
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and promote their lighting products and services
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and market insights related to their lighting solutions to the management team
