Accounts Semi-Senior/ Senior job opportunity - Cannock - varied practice role within supportive firm

Your new company
Successful independent firm with clients ranging in size and industry seeking to recruit a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join the team in a varied practice role.
Your new role
Working with a mixed client portfolio including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, in this role you will prepare statutory accounts, management accounts and both corporate and self-assessment tax returns using a range of systems including Iris, Xero and Taxcalc. You may also support colleagues with bookkeeping, VAT returns and CIS returns and will liaise regularly with clients.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will possess prior experience preparing accounts within a UK accountancy firm. My client will consider individuals who have complete or who are part-way through AAT/ACCA or ACA qualifications as well as those who are QBE (provided relevant practice experience can be demonstrated in line with the duties above). Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
