Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Transport & Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage our supply chain transport operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and coordinating the movement of goods through third-party logistics contracts and preferred couriers, ensuring that our supply chain delivery commitments are met and service excellence targets are achieved.

This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations, making it an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact in the field of transport and logistics.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

  • Coordinate transport, ensuring that delivery times and schedules are met. Coordinate all non-conformance issues with transport suppliers, ensuring actions are taken and problems are resolved.

  • Work with preferred transport suppliers to ensure we get the best service and cost. Coordinate the transport invoices to ensure correct costs are charged and accounted for.

  • Support Transport and Logistics controller in managing transport suppliers through regular supplier reviews and measurement. Ensure all Transport Suppliers conform to Finning Health and Safety rules.

  • Work with the Supply Chain to ensure inbound/outbound deliveries are coordinated to meet our and customers' needs. Targets should align with OTIF, Delivery on time, and asset turns.

  • Provide support and analysis of transport KPIs.

Knowledge:

  • Parts operations end-to-end process knowledge

  • Basic product knowledge

  • Knowledge of CAT products desired

Education & Experience:

  • Good level of education (A level plus) with parts/supply chain experience.

  • Experience in maintaining customer and business relationships.
