Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver - General Haulage (Curtain Side Vehicle)
Location: Walsall
Salary: 14 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to provide ongoing general haulage services across Birmingham and the Black Country area. This role involves delivering palletised goods, with up to 5 drops per shift using a curtain-side vehicle. With consistent and frequent work available, you will be part of a professional team ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 HGV curtain-side vehicle.
• Deliver palletised goods (up to 5 drops per shift).
• Follow all road safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Deliver goods efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Class 2 HGV driving experience.
• Valid UK Class 2 (C) licence with no more than 6 points.
• Minimum age: 25 (for insurance purposes).
• Familiarity with curtain-side vehicles preferred.
• Strong time management and self-organisation skills.
• Start times available between 04:00 and 08:00
• Shift length is usually 10 - 12 hours but may last longer if required
