Financial Controller, Temporary job in Wolverhampton, £300 - £350 per day

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working exclusively with this manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton. They are looking for a temporary Financial Controller to work with them on an ongoing basis.
Your new role
The job of the Financial Controller will involve management of the finance function, reporting in to the FD. You will attend meetings and talk through the reporting on a monthly basis, as well as make recommendations to support the business's growth. The job will involve:

• Preparation of timely and accurate management accounts for group
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Drive the finance functions and support with strategic goals and planning of the business
• Preparation of financial reports for the FD and MD
• Preparation of annual budgets and strategic documents
• Dealing with all-year end matters as well as liaising with auditors as and when required
• Implement effective processes and procedures
• Supporting the finance team of 4 individuals, training and mentoring them to enable them to do their roles as efficiently as possible

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a finance team. They will be able to start a role straight away and be comfortable producing monthly and annual accounts.
What you'll get in return
The job comes with an annualised salary equivalent of £70,000 - £80,000, it also comes with a bonus, free parking, 25 days' holiday + stats.
