Rate £16.66/hr (Umbrella Ltd), £14.66 (PAYE)
The Role

Our client requires an experienced Resident Liaison Officer on a temporary basis. You will act as the primary point of contact between residents and the contractor, ensuring effective communication during decarbonisation and refurbishment in the social housing environment. You will be working directly with a site manager on a stream of work that will contribute to Government Net Zero targets. The work involves external insulation, cavity wall insulation, window and door replacement.

Key responsibilities will include:
Resident Engagement: Develop and manage the residents' consultation plan for individual projects. Offer information, advice, and assistance to tenants and leaseholders affected by major works.
Communication: Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure clear and consistent communication with residents.
Coordinate the creation of resident information packs and updates, including newsletters and other media outlets.
Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve access difficulties or disputes with residents.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a liaison or customer service role, preferably within the Social Housing sector, and knowledge of the types of repairs and refurbishments in Social Housing. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to manage complex situations, and proficiency in project management. Personally, you must be empathetic, be able to problem-solve and be adaptable.
