Job description

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are working with a leading UK innovative cosmetics manufacturer at Halesworth, who are looking for Production Operatives to join their team.

A thriving family-owned business, specialising in award-winning bespoke beauty product development and formulation, spanning skin care, bath and body care, haircare, sun care and much more. Are actively recruiting for production operatives on days on a full time, temporary to permanent basis.

Working as part of the production team, your daily duties rotate throughout the day and include:

  • Packing finished products into gift boxes and sealing using wrap machine.
  • Packing gift boxes into outer cartons.
  • Placing bottle components, bottles, tubes onto conveyor belts.
  • Adding lids to bottles once filled.
  • Loading filled bottles onto conveyor belts for labelling removing them, packing into boxes.

Skills Required

  • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable, but not essential.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to packing targets.
  • Nimble fingered and dexterous (very important).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Resilience.
  • Ability to work well as a part of a team as well as be self-motivated.
  • Living locally or own transport is required due to company location.
