Introduction

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Lead Nurse to join a busy referral veterinary practice in South West Surrey, just outside Godalming. This is a full-time day role, based in a well-equipped hospital environment.

Key Highlights :

• Serve as Team Leader for the referral Registered Veterinary Nurses
• Oversee a team of 15 veterinary nurses and care assistants
• Clinical and management responsibilities in wards and theatre
• 40-hour work week with weekends and shared bank holidays included
• Active involvement in meetings, appraisals, and staff development

Overview :

The practice is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead a referral nursing team. You will be responsible for managing a busy hospital environment, providing support across two main areas - wards and theatre.

This is a hands-on clinical role that also involves managerial duties, including appraisals and meetings. The position is suited to someone with strong leadership skills, clinical confidence, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in orthopaedics and neurology would be advantageous but is not required.

• You are a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
