About the Team

The Contract and Commissioning Support Service provides robust data analytics, contract monitoring, performance management and support to Commissioners of Adult Social Care. A countywide team, it provides a strategic perspective to some of Adults, Wellbeing, and Health Partnerships biggest contracts and grants working closely with commissioners, systems teams, contract support, and brokerage. We also work with area-based commissioners to ensure the directorate is achieving, through its commissioned services, the best value-for-money outcomes possible for its residents.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious individual to join our busy and friendly team in the Contract and Commissioning Support Service. This is an opportunity to develop your data analysis skills, report building/writing skills, and presentation skills in order to produce creative reports which support commissioning in Adults, Wellbeing, and Health Partnerships. Key focus areas of these posts will be to support Surrey County Councils Adults, Wellbeing, and Health Partnerships Directorate with the analytics and insights to support the delivery of the Everyday Living Opportunities and Technology Enabled Care programmes of work.

Your work will directly influence the strategic decisions that enhance the quality of care provided. By analysing and presenting data on service performance, you will help identify areas for improvement, ensuring that care services are continuously optimized to meet the needs of our most vulnerable adults.

Your role will be crucial in providing actionable insights to care teams, enabling them to understand trends, measure outcomes, and implement best practices. By translating complex data into clear, impactful information, you will support frontline workers in delivering more effective and personalized care, ultimately improving the lives of our residents.

Through data analysis, you will help to streamline operations and ensure that resources are allocated where they are needed most. Your efforts will lead to more efficient use of time and funds, which means more resources can be directed towards direct care activities. This will result in better support for both care providers and recipients, making a tangible difference in the overall care experience.

You will have strong communication skills, excellent IT skills and experience of using large/multiple datasets. You will also have experience of collecting and visualizing data to support senior management decision making. Tableau Software experience is critical; Tableau Skills will be assessed as part of the recruitment process through a test on the day of the interview.
