Following a period of sustained growth, this Energy major is undertaking an exciting restructure and transformation of their procurement function. With a plan to modernise and move towards best-in-class, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement leader looking for a chance to put their own stamp on a procurement function

They now seek a specialist in procurement performance operations & analytics to drive meaningful change across data, systems & processes within the procurement team. You will work collaboratively with the Procurement Leadership team, focusing on data, insights, and performance to maximise their approach to continuous improvement, providing an opportunity where you can make a real impact.

This is a newly created role so you will have the opportunity to develop things in your own image, and the challenge to drive change effectively across the business. Your responsibilities will include overseeing data and insights across the procurement lifecycle process, reporting on performance to key stakeholders, and providing actionable insights from internal data systems.

Additionally, you will lead and support a team to deliver high-quality insights and reporting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate technical competence in data analysis tools, and effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders. Your success will be measured by the accuracy and robustness of your reporting, the strength of relationships with stakeholders, your alignment with company values, and your ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and develop a procurement operations function, understanding key performance metrics
  • Redefine procurement policies and procedure to drive efficiency across the P2P processes
  • Report on Procurement and Supplier Management performance to key stakeholders, providing actionable insights from internal data systems
  • Ensure the accuracy of reporting processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead and support a team to deliver high-quality insights and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate technical competence in data analysis tools.

What's on Offer:

  • A supportive leadership keen to drive positive impact across the business
  • The chance to contribute to the growth of a transforming procurement team at a vital time of transformation and investment

If you have experience in operational procurement, data analysis, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions, this could be a fantastic next step.
