The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation team, ensuring efficient supply chain processes, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Transport Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our fleet. Your key duties will include:

• Supervising the daily transport operations, including planning and scheduling deliveries.
• Monitoring driver performance and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements (e.g., tachographs, vehicle maintenance).
• Managing and maintaining vehicle documentation, inspections, and repairs to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety standards.
• Liaising with internal departments, customers, and third-party service providers to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team of drivers and transport staff.
• Identifying areas for operational improvement and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Handling any transport-related issues, including route changes, delays, and emergencies, in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensuring that health and safety standards are met and maintained throughout all transport activities.

• Strong understanding of transport regulations, compliance, and fleet management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Knowledge of transport management software is a plus.
• Cpc would be advantageous
