About Us:

Combat Stress is the UK's leading mental health charity for veterans. For over a century we've been helping former service personnel deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues related to their military service. We provide a range of community, outpatient and residential mental health services to veterans with complex mental health problems. We provide services in-person, and via phone and online.

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated, vibrant and focussed Donations Assistant to join our busy Individual Giving Team. This position will be based at our head office in Leatherhead, but hybrid working is available.

As our Donations Assistant it's your responsibility to process all online charity donations and trading arm payments. You will also be taking donations over the phone, answering supporter queries and helping to process offline donations during our busy periods. Supporter Care is at the heart of all we do, and this role is pivotal in ensuring that all our supporters receive the best possible experience and feel part of the Combat Stress family.

Previous experience working with online donation sites like JustGiving, or a charity CRM like Raiser's Edge would be an advantage.

This role is subject to a DBS check.

As a healthcare environment, and for the health and wellbeing of our staff, veterans and visitors, we encourage everyone at Combat Stress especially professionals that are veteran facing to take up the offer to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

What we offer:
