My Brighton based client is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with strong leadership ambitions

Job title: Senior Structural EngineerLocation: Brighton
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 + benefits DOE
Arrangements: Hybrid
Benefits: Paid six week sabbatical every three years + normal annual leave, opportunity for shares/ownership scheme within 2-5 years, pension

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce practical and cost-effective structural designs in timber, concrete, masonry, and steel.
• Manage and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Competently use AutoCAD and Tekla or Masterseries. Revit skills are an advantage.

Requirements:

• Working towards being Chartered, or already Chartered, with the Institution of Structural Engineers.
• Extensive design experience with a consulting structural engineering practice in the UK or Ireland.
• Excellent communication skills - both in writing and face to face.
