Finance Analyst, 12 month FTC, Crawley, Hybrid

Your new company
Our commercial client is recruiting a Finance Analyst for a 12-month FTC, with the potential of being made permanent.
Your new role
You will be involved in assisting with forecasting, annual planning, and the 5-year strategic plan for spending. You will ensure the timely and accurate submission of spend, project, and expense forecasts, including the preparation and review of analytical commentary for monthly reports. Managing IT allocations for reporting, forecasting, and planning processes is crucial, ensuring a clear understanding and audit trail of IT support expenses. You will also manage the costs, providing stakeholders with a breakdown of their charges. You will also support capital spending and associated depreciation models, interacting with the Financial Accountant to understand the forecast's impact on financial results, and assisting with purchase orders and vendor queries. The role also involves improving processes, managing month-end financial accruals and prepayments along with supporting monthly finance reporting to the Head Office with commentary on actual and full-year forecast movements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant, though Qualified by Experience will be considered. You will have strong analytical skills along with good Excel and excellent communication skills as you will be working with key stakeholders.
What you'll get in return
This is a 1-year FTC with the potential to be made permanent, salary £55,000 - £60,000, enhanced pension, hybrid, 25-days holiday.
