Job description

Our client has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, for 80 years, predominantly to local authority housing associations. Working as a close-knit team, the organization has successfully proven its ability to be a serious competitor in the construction industry.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Support Representative to join one of our bustling project teams, working in and around Adur, Worthing, and Chichester. You will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication with residents of diverse backgrounds during construction and maintenance projects.

Main Duties:

  • Prepare correspondence addressing issues such as access, delays, changes/additions to works, and resolving resident concerns.
  • Handle residents' complaints and issues through email, phone, or home visits.
  • Collect Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) upon work completion and log the results.
  • Arrange appointments for workers and subcontractors where necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with residents to ensure satisfaction and smooth project execution.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss planned construction activities, ensuring targets and client specifications are met.

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Strong face-to-face customer service experience.
  • Confident and calm communicator within a face-to-face environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Flexible to accommodate the needs of the residents.
  • Able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Basic IT knowledge.

Package:

  • Salary: 24,000 to 30,000 per annum.

Additional Information:

  • A DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company's expense.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour for lunch).
  • 40 hours per week.
