Exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant for a Global Manufacturer

As a Management Accountant, you play a critical role in reporting management information for the Team Valley and Littlehampton business locations. Your responsibilities extend beyond financial reporting; you actively contribute to effective internal controls and collaborate on division-wide projects. Join our finance team and make an impact!
Main Duties:

• Produce daily, weekly, and month-end reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Safeguard location assets and establish robust processes for financial reporting.
• Maintain and update internal controls, including SOX compliance.
• Analyse overhead costs.
• Handle month-end journals and reconciliations.
• Assist with standard costing and work order processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including statements, reviews, forecasts, and budgeting.
• Provide necessary information for statutory reporting and taxation at the head office.
• Offer support and advice to other divisional locations.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Facilitate coordination between FSUs, ESSC, and Sales Companies.
• Adhere to US GAAP accounting practices.
• Contribute to special projects within the Finance team and across the business.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with the team to meet accounting data and reporting deadlines.
• Safeguard business assets through effective internal controls.
• Provide timely and accurate data and analysis for management and the financial community.
• Support the successful completion of the Annual Budgeting process.
• Actively participate as a team member in the finance department.
