Dispatch Operator Bedworth Full Time

Founded in 1685, our client is one of the world s, oldest family run businesses and holder of a Royal Warrant. The business designs and makes jewellery, embroidery, medals, ribbon & insignia, and a broad range of other identity-based products for state institutions and corporate clients around the world.

As a Dispatch Operator you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly and that customers receive their orders on time.

Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure will be essential to your success in this role.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • GCSEs A-C or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Computer literacy is a must
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (preferred)
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, and perform physical tasks as required
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail is a must
  • Valid driver s licence (preferred)

What will your role look like?

  • Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods
  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch
  • Pick, Pack & Ship.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to incoming or outgoing shipments
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
  • Use warehouse management system to track and report on goods movements
