  • Support hiring processes where required within your portfolio by collaborating with the recruitment team to ensure a smooth candidate experience and conducting effective onboarding for new team members.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with company standards and employment laws. Act as a resource for policy questions and support managers in applying policies consistently.
  • Partner with managers to create a positive work environment, supporting initiatives to improve team morale, engagement, and retention across the portfolio.
  • Identify training and development needs within your portfolio, coordinating resources and programmes to ensure employees have access to opportunities for growth and skill enhancement.
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor within your portfolio, managing employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution. Ensure fair, consistent, and timely handling of all issues.
  • Use people data and metrics to track key trends in your portfolio, providing insights to help drive continuous improvement and support workforce planning.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • Prior experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisory role is essential.
  • CIPD qualification - level 5 preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment law.
  • Experience of TUPE transfers and working with Trade Unions would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency with HR systems as well as MS suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Additional Information:
  • Please note this is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 9 am 5 pm with hybrid working available (up to 4 days in the office).
  • 6% Company pension contribution (5% contribution from you).
  • Private Medical Insurance.
  • Lunch, drinks & snacked provided.
  • Life Insurance (x3 basic salary).
  • 28 days Annual Leave throughout the year, plus an additional 3 days Annual Leave in the December holiday period, when the company shuts down (plus statutory holidays).
