Job description

Purpose:
We are seeking a Property Management Surveyor to manage the entire property life cycle, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks throughout each stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess the Group s occupational space needs and acquire suitable properties to meet budgetary, IT, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend and implement strategies to reduce unoccupied office space, thereby minimizing financial liabilities and generating rental income.
• Negotiate lease terms and manage key lease events to ensure compliance and alignment with financial and market standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Sales & Agency and Group Legal, to coordinate and deliver objectives effectively.
• Manage and oversee external service providers, ensuring services align with contract agreements and Group requirements.
• Work with the Property Finance team to advise on property expenditures, focusing on rents and service charges to support financial planning.
• Assist in delivering short-term projects and activities as directed by the Line Manager.

Qualifications:

• Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Proficient in Office 2010 and familiar with property software such as Qube.
• Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the agency network is advantageous
