We're searching for a dynamic HSE Manager to join a team working at the Head Office of a well established manufacturing company
You will play a vital role in safeguarding our employees' wellbeing and shaping our positive safety culture.
As the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager / HSE Manager, Here is what you can achieve in this role:
- Become a Trusted Advisor: You will be the go-to expert for all things health, safety and environment. You'll provide guidance and support to colleagues at all levels, ensuring everyone understands and adheres to best practices. You'll also mentor and support staff in implementing HSE initiatives, fostering a culture of shared responsibility.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: You will be responsible for establishing and implementing robust health and safety policies and procedures that meet the highest standards. By monitoring industry trends and legislative changes, you'll ensure our practices remain at the forefront of the field. You will analyse data and utilise KPIs to identify areas for improvement, championing a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Make a Tangible Impact: You will conduct regular risk assessments and audits, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risk across the business. You will investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, developing strategies to prevent recurrence. You will also develop and deliver engaging HSE training programmes for all employees, empowering them to work safely and confidently.
- Collaborate and Foster Teamwork: You will work closely with teams across the business, integrating HSE considerations into all aspects of project planning and execution. You'll also play a key role in developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures, coordinating drills and training to ensure a swift and effective response in any situation.

As the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager you will have the following experience and qualifications:
- A NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum, with a NEBOSH Diploma being highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of relevant management standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- A proven track record of using quality tools in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written reports.
- A genuine passion for health and safety and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities.
