Your new role
As a Housing Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tenants and maintaining positive relationships within the community.Your responsibilities will include:Tenancy Management: Managing tenancies, addressing queries, and ensuring compliance with housing policies. Community Engagement: Fostering community spirit, organising events, and promoting resident participation. Property Inspections: Conducting property inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and coordinating repairs. Rent Arrears: Monitoring rent payments, assisting tenants, and implementing arrears management strategies. Partnerships: Collaborating with local organisations and agencies to enhance services for residents. Anti-Social Behaviour: Work with housing colleagues to investigate complaints relating to estate management complaints and collaborate with housing officers to develop solutions to prevent recurring nuisance incidents.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous Social Housing Experience. A passion for community development and social inclusion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and experience of estate management. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
