HMP Erlestoke is a Category C prison holding adult male sentenced offenders.

Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity available as a Project escort working within the Prison Service. You will be working as part of the project team. As part of this role, you'll be required to work at HMP Erlestoke.
As part of the operational security team, your duties will include assisting/ escorting the contractors as they carry out maintenance and ongoing project developments at the prison, searching visitors and contractors, tool checks etc
This role is a full-time, ongoing temporary position, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to work overtime, from time to time.Rate (inclusive of holidays): £13.10 p/h standard day shifts
What you'll need to succeed

You will need no formal qualifications. However, you will need to be security conscious, level-headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. You will also have a good ability to work as a team to achieve goals. Immediate start if you are already prison security cleared. You must hold a Valid Passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence at your current address. All applicants must be able to provide details of 2 satisfactory references, at least one from an ex-employer and are subject to full prison clearance.
