Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with a organisation in the agricultural sector helping combine innovation and sustainability by delivering a farm management system to the poultry farming industry. They are looking to recruit a Mid-Level Full Stack PHP Developer to join the development team helping to develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel framework. This position offers the flexibility of remote working within the UK, with required travel to the Hampshire based site when required.

This role involves working on in-house developed web applications centred around animal welfare in food production, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle. The main duties and responsibilities are:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
• Design, build, and optimize efficient, testable, and reusable code.
• Implement front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, React).
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure high-quality and consistent user experiences.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.

To be considered as a suitable candidate for this role we are looking for as much as the below to be shown in a CV profile across Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficient in the Laravel PHP framework.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js or React.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of database management systems, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
