What you'll be doing;
- Lead daily MRF weighing systems operations and manage logistics teams to meet targets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations (HSE, PPE, COSHH, etc.).
- Manage staff development and training, ensuring effective communication across shifts and departments.
- Oversee internal and external weighbridge operations and transactions daily.
- Process waste types and materials according to contract requirements and communicate with customers and site personnel.
- Plan and implement efficient resource use to meet production schedules and handle workload changes.
- Maintain and oversee all weighbridge operation records for auditing purposes.
- Monitor stock levels and order necessary materials, supplies, and parts.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the weighbridge office and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with other managers and supervisors to optimise operations and develop team members' skills.
What we're looking for;
- Demonstrates proven leadership abilities and strong communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with supervisory, management, and professional staff at all levels.
- Must possess good organisational and time management skills.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- A background in a similar role advisory.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
